    Laying on the cool linoleum floor, I awaited the waking of Mr. big-shot scientist Lawrence. He was so far gone that I wondered how long he would take to regenerate himself. Kaihen was pacing the floor in a nervous ensemble. "What if you killed him?" he asked, but I lay still in my lupine form.




    'I told you that I would not. I am not a wolf that enjoys the kill unless I absolutely have to. Even then, I keep my word.'



    A few hours later, Lawrence awoke and I was listening carefully to a strange noise fast approaching us. Glaring at him and growling, I asked him what was on its way. "Haven't you told her Nikolai?" he asked, a smirk playing upon his lips. The one I assumed was Nikolai looked panic-ridden as his colleague looked over at him.



    The noises were becoming louder and I looked to the door as black shapes moved in somewhat synchronization. 'What did you do?!' I growled and snapped at Lawrence. "Not what I did, but how important I am to this community as a whole." Snapping at him, getting very close to his face, I then growled deeply again. The army was gaining, and soon was bombarding the room. "Freeze!" the leader yelled, and the guns were aimed at me, standing in front of their precious scientist.



    "Make one move," Lawrence said, and Kaihen screamed in a desperation, "Don't shoot her!" and took a step towards me. They aimed at him and then I sprang forward onto those closest to Kaihen mowing them to their deaths and a shot was fired. My shoulder ached with he sting of their bullets and I was down.



   World.... going.... black...... must, protect the one.... who saved me.




    I woke up in a new space, and a small girl was looking curiously at me. Growling, I tried to snap and she seemed very unafraid of me. Skye was not too far away and Nikolai was holding him. Lawrence was nowhere to be found. There was a figure chained and blindfolded on the wall. Who was he?
